Take
PTEX, which not only provides a thorough review of Maryland
law, but also teaches you how to use it on the MEE to earn points.
Study the Exam. Use practice MEE questions as learning tools.
Take and carefully review practice MBE and MEE questions in
a simulated exam environment. This daily practice will allow
you to work on your timing and organization, and familiarize
you with both parts of the Maryland Bar.
Allocate your preparation time according to the weight assigned
to each part of the Maryland Bar.
Adopt a schedule that works for you and allows you to maximize
your preparation time. While several months may seem like a
long time to prepare for the Bar, that time can easily be wasted
if not used effectively. If you must work during the preparation
period, be sure to end your employment at least 14 days before
you take the Bar so you can focus exclusively on the Exam.
Take two full MBE and two full MEE exams under simulated test
conditions, before taking the actual Bar Exam. It is imperative
that you have the full experience of sitting for both parts
of the bar exam. This experience gives you an added advantage
on the exam because you will be familiar with the test instructions,
the exam format and the time allocations.
